Brody Funk

Brody is a business leader and mentor with a passion for helping trades entrepreneurs and construction leaders build profitable, systems-based companies that operate without depending on the owner. As an Executive Business Coach at Highspire, he brings a rare kind of credibility to this work, having walked the path from technician to business owner to successful exit.

Brody started in the trades as a teenager and built Super Plumber into a regional force on Vancouver Island’s residential service scene. In 2021, he merged the company with 360 Comfort Systems, scaling the business past 100 team members before successfully exiting for 12x EBITDA. Along the way, he spent years working alongside general contractors, giving him a deep understanding of how trades and GCs intersect, where the friction lives, and what it takes to build strong, profitable relationships on both sides of the job.

With hands-on experience across operations, finance, sales, and team development, Brody offers a uniquely well-rounded perspective. His coaching is data-driven and direct, grounded in real financials, real CRM data, and the real challenges of running a service-based business. He works closely with owners to identify profit leaks, tighten systems, sharpen sales processes, and build the leadership pipelines required to scale.
